Question: Q: What cause cause iPhone glass to warp and separate from the frame. Is it due to battery heat? Is it due to battery heat? Not sure what is cause, the glass is warped and bowed outward and separating from the frame about two inches along the volume control side of the phone.

Clean the old glue. Now, apply the glue to the frame and position the glass. Gently give pressure to the frame. Apply the pressure to the top corners of the screen+frame. Check whether the frame is in straight. Solution 4: Use Locktite glue. Dropped iPhone on the floor and the panel gets separately from the phone.

I solved it taking the iPhone back to the Apple Store (3 years old, not covered by warranty). They replaced my iPhone with a refurbished one in 10 minutes for free. I think this is the best solution. Otherwise you can try to fix it on your own. The issue here is that the battery is collapsing and expanding, pushing your screen away from the case.

Iphone lcd/glass separation is really not very difficult. Not when compared to samsungs anyway.
